Quines to translate old articles

We are on hollidays for one week (french zone C). Kids had time to recover from the last period of schooling and we began to appreciate this time off and are profiting until the resumption next week.

This won’t be the most usefull code you’ll ever read in your life, but we’ve produced a Quine in the form of a shellcode; a shellquine1. With only 38 bytes, this code will output itself on the standard output and – bonus – launch a shell.

And because we feel sad some articles were available only in French, we’ve finally translated in English the ones we think they are worthwhile. A little bit of computer security with a restricted AD account2 and the classical SQL Injection3. And a little serie about geolocation with IP Addresses; the principle4, an implementation with PHP and SQLite5 and a way to produce your own standard files6 (avoiding the need to pay a useless subscription).

For our English readers, if you find some French article you’d like to read in english, feel free to contact us.
